Early Grav Belts

“Still really noisy: something quieter please, and able to land on the ground.”

Fortunately, the basic concept has been proven, and at a reasonable cost, so I’m expecting to see a quieter, ground-landing one available around 2025 or sooner.

True antigravity, sadly, is still a while away: but the Solomani always were slackers at that kind of technology…

Thank you, I’ve recently been searching for info
about this topic for a while and yours is the greatest I’ve discovered
so far. But, what about the bottom line? Are you certain about the source?

I’m in two minds about that.

The greater part would be overjoyed to discover that a certain game designer has 1) contact with a human-dominated empire that spans 14,000 stars and 2) he also has contact with a time traveller, who has spanned at least 3000 years of human history.

The lesser part of me would be unhappy that I got my theology wrong. But, it wouldn’t be the first time… and men far smarter than I have made similar mistakes. Such is life.

Now, about that FTL technology…. ;D
